THE OC - The Secret and Lies

Whoa, two "Viewer Discretion Advised" warnings in a row. How lucky do I feel. Turns out, not that lucky. Last week's was kind of a let down, considering my best guess as to what it was for would be Volchok and Marissa tearing each other's clothes off, and this week was intense, but reminiscent of Jimmy Cooper's beating at the beginning of the season. So, kind of a let down. The question I had to ask myself at the end of the episode was, should I really still be watching this show if all I'm doing is looking for why they feel the need to advise my discretion? It can't be that good, right? Yeah. I think yes is the answer too. Anyway, basic recap. Marissa sucks more and more every week. Seth and Summer are cute no matter what they're doing or how boring they are as a couple, for the love of God, don't mess with them. Ryan and Sadie I like, and I liked that she stayed, but I don't see it lasting. Julie has got to be kidding herself with this Dr. Roberts thing. This man looks at her and says, this is a trial? That's a warning Juls, come on. Oh yeah, I definitely bawled my eyes out during the AA meeting. Twice. Good to see that she's still sober. Or something.
